Leading the NL in HR and RBI in 1991 and at the time along with Barry Bonds the only two members of the 30/30 club. Won the World Series with Mets in ‘86 (and the ‘84 Tigers) as well as a two time all star in 1989 and 91. Those numbers are better then Gary Carters numbers with the Mets if you look at the averages. I’m not sure what the Mets have been waiting for
